AT LAST

It's finished, at last.  Yeah!

Just what Frannie ordered.  (Am I the only one who keeps their furniture covered?  I am protecting them from a preteen, adults who read lots of newspapers and snack while watching TV, and a bichon.  Of course, if I knew you were coming, I would remove them and bake a bundt.)

Soft and cozy, too.

Found the inspiration on Pinterest (where else?!!) and the pattern here.  Not difficult - just don't nod off while your hooking.

A LITTLE MORE LOVE

Frannie spread a little love around the neighborhood on Valentine's Day.  (Trivia tidbit at bottom of post)

We baked brownies and blondies, cut them out with an extra large heart shaped cookie cutter, and packaged them in these holiday wrappers.  The neighbors always LOVE receiving treats from her.

Walgreens must have been reading Frannie's mind because this is where I found the Mickey Valentine bag.  Can you guess what's inside?  Frannie already had Minnie.

Trivia Tidbit:  Did you notice the white house with black shutters in the background of the first photo?  Well, that was the first house on our street and the front of it actually faces out onto a main road because later the property was divided up (I think around 1960) and eight additional houses were built here.  It was built way back when by Lauren Bacall's uncle, and when Lauren Bacall (formerly known as Betty Joan Perske) was in her teen years, she would visit with her cousins regularly here at their home.  It's really a very lovely 3 story home inside.

JUMPING JACK FLASH

IT'S A GAS! GAS! GAS!
I'm sure you've seen these all over Pinterest.  Frannie and I whipped one up in a flash Sunday morning.  Had everything we needed in stock: vintage playing cards, ribbon, red & white fabrics and a paper punch.

Frannie has a Mickey & Minnie Mouse theme going on this year for Valentine decorations/card/gifts.  She has been drawing up a storm.  Speaking of storms, you see that snow behind the drawing below - that's the beginning of the BLIZZARD!
