I think I have been doing a pretty good job of teaching Frannie. Along with knitting, sewing, and now cross-stitch lessons, I've been known to say to her, "Frannie, if you want to become a great quilter, you must learn geometry."
This seems to be a favorite project of Mr. Tegmier as he has been assigning it to his students for the past seven years. I'll bet he's never received one quite like this.

UGH! No WONDER I can't figure out the quilting "math"!! I HATE(D) Geometry and failed miserably in high school. Thankfully, my husband is good at it; he needs to be in his line of work. AND his cousin and wife teach it at the high school level. Amelia is covered when she has questions on it! LOL!! But I DO love Frannie's Geometry Dictionary. PERFECT!
That's AWESOME! I'd definitely give Frannie a big red open-bottomed triangle! My geometry teacher was my favorite teacher ever. He made class to fun and I LOVED geometry. I hope Frannie loves it too!
